Mimi is made by Loch Partners LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Mimi.

What We Collect

Mimi does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other identifying information.

Your learning progress, which words you've saved, your streak, your comprehension level, and your settings, is stored only on your device. It is never transmitted to us, to any server we operate, or to any third party. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it. We have no way to see, recover, or restore it, because we never had it.

Apple processes your subscription payment. We receive confirmation that a subscription is active, through Apple's standard mechanisms, but we do not receive your payment details, Apple handles those directly. See Apple's own privacy policy for how Apple processes payment information.

Video Playback

Videos inside Mimi are played through YouTube's own embedded player. Mimi does not host, download, or store any video or audio, every clip streams live from YouTube's servers. Because the video is playing on YouTube's own player, Google/YouTube may collect information about that playback (for example, to serve the video) under YouTube's own Terms of Service and Google's own Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. We do not control what Google/YouTube collects during playback and cannot vary it. If you want to review or limit what Google collects, see Google's own privacy controls, not ours.

What We do not do

We do not show ads. We do not use an advertising SDK. We do not sell, rent, or share any information about you, because we do not collect any to begin with. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Children

Mimi is not directed at children and is not listed in Apple's Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and given that we do not collect information from anyone, this is true by construction rather than by a filter we run.

Your Rights

Because your learning data lives only on your device, you already have full control over it: uninstalling the app deletes it. If you have a question about this policy or believe any information about you has been collected in a way this policy doesn't describe, contact us at support@mimifeed.com.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection) over any personal data we process. Contact us at the address above to exercise them; because we hold no personal data on our own systems, most such requests will have nothing to act on beyond confirming that.
