How the 7 day free trial works
Your trial starts the moment you confirm it with Apple and lasts 7 days. If you do nothing, the plan you chose begins on day 8 and Apple charges you. To cancel before it ends, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Mimi, then Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
Restoring a purchase on a new phone
Sign in to the same Apple ID you used to subscribe, open Mimi, open the paywall or Settings inside the app, and tap Restore Purchases. Apple confirms the subscription and Mimi unlocks.
A clip stopped playing
Clips play through YouTube's own player. If one stops working, the video was removed from YouTube or its owner turned off embedding. Mimi drops it from the feed automatically; swipe to the next clip.
Changing your level
Open Explore and pick a level from N5 to N1, or Any level. The feed follows your choice straight away.
Reporting a mistake in a transcript or translation
Email support@mimifeed.com with the clip's title or channel and the line that is wrong. We fix transcript errors in the catalogue and the correction reaches every phone.
Is there an account?
No. Everything Mimi knows about you, your saved words, your streak and your settings, stays on your device. Deleting the app deletes it. We cannot see it or restore it.
Refunds
Apple bills the subscription, so refunds go through Apple: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find Mimi and choose Request a refund. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
Rights holders and takedown requests
Mimi does not host, store, or download any video or audio. Every clip plays live through YouTube's own embedded player, streamed directly from YouTube's servers, and disabling a video for embedding on YouTube's side removes it from Mimi automatically.
If you are a rights holder and believe a clip should not appear in Mimi, or have a concern about how Mimi's transcript or translation of your content is used, contact us at legal@mimifeed.com with:
- The YouTube video URL or video ID in question.
- A description of your concern.
- Confirmation of your relationship to the content (rights holder, agent, etc.).
We will review requests promptly and remove a clip from Mimi's catalogue pending review where warranted, independent of any separate action you may also take directly with YouTube/Google.
